AuthentAI Framework

AuthentAI (AAI) is an accountability framework for AI systems that ensures transparency and trust through a two-phase process:

1. Operation Phase:
Generates DNA@AI—a cryptographically signed, immutable record anchored in a hardware root of trust that captures the interactions between humans, AI models, and data.

2. Verification Phase:
Validating the DNA@AI record enables third parties to verify the authenticity, integrity, and provenance of AI outputs. This ensures that outputs are traceable to their origin and unaltered since creation.

Think of DNA@AI as a tamper-resistant ‘birth certificate’ for AI outputs—it verifies who was involved, what data was used, and ensures that the output hasn’t been altered.

Secure-By-Design

Secure by Design is paramount to building safety, security, and ethical alignment into AI systems from inception rather than treating them as add-ons. It calls for all stakeholders—developers, organizations, policymakers, researchers, and users—to collaborate in creating AI technologies that are inherently safe, resilient, and aligned with human values.

Core Principles

Safety-First Architecture: Design AI systems to minimize risks of harm (physical, psychological, or societal) through rigorous testing, fail-safes, and safeguards against misuse.

Security by Default: Embed defenses against adversarial attacks, data breaches, and model tampering. Use hardware-rooted encryption, access controls, and continuous vulnerability scanning.

Benevolence by Intent: Ensure AI systems are ethically aligned, transparent, and accountable. Implement mechanisms to audit decisions (e.g., explainable AI tools) and prevent biases.
